Karachi hosts the Lux Style Awards 2025

The annual ceremony brought together Pakistan’s entertainment, film, music, fashion and digital sectors

The Lux Style Awards 2025 took place in Karachi, bringing together Pakistan’s leading figures from the entertainment and fashion industries.

The event opened with a performance by Abida Parveen, who presented a rendition of spiritual poetry. The ceremony was hosted by Sanam Saeed, Sarmad Khoosat, and Shehryar Munawar.

Hania Aamir received the Best Actress of the Year award for her role in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. Yumna Zaidi won her first film award as Best Actress for Nayab. In her speech, Yumna said portraying a sportswoman required rigorous training and credited her mother for supporting her, dedicating the award to her. Fahad Mustafa won Best TV Actor for Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. He remarked that the show demonstrated that Pakistani content could reach international audiences without relying on global platforms, adding that local success is possible while staying in Pakistan.

Awards were presented across music, fashion, film, and digital categories, highlighting key work produced over the past year.
