Royals would not have approved of Meghan Markle’s parenting approach

Meghan Markle parenting style wouldn’t work in Palace life: Expert

Meghan Markle’s parenting approach with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would not have worked with the Palace life, an expert has claimed.

Recently, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex shared that being a mother turned out very differently than she expected.

In episode 7 of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, she spoke with Kitsch founder Cassandra Thurswell and said she always dreamed of being a mum.

The former actor, who now goes by Meghan Sussex, said she imagined giving speeches with her baby in her arms, but when the time came, things didn’t go as planned.

She further explained that a lot was happening in her life during both of her pregnancies, and motherhood didn’t look the way she had pictured it.

“I will say, for myself – especially when they are baby babies and before I was mum, I’ve always wanted to be a mum,” said Meghan.

Prince Harry’s wife added, “I was like, ‘Oh gosh I’m going to give a speech with a baby on my hip’ – I had a whole vision – you fast forward, granted I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies.

“But it was not the way I envisioned it.”

Sharing her two cents on Meghan’s views, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that kind of parenting style wouldn’t have worked in the Royal family.

“It’s a no go,” the expert commented while speaking with The Sun.

“You can’t have the kid on your hip and be giving speeches in the royal, well, you can’t in any world, really.”

Meanwhile, royal expert Jack Royston claimed Harry and Meghan don’t fully agree on how much of their children’s lives should be shared with the public.

“I cannot get away from the feeling that maybe Harry and Meghan feel differently about whether or not to show the children,” he said.

Royston continued, “And that’s what’s behind this kind of compromise position where Meghan probably would rather just put pictures of their faces on Instagram and not worry too much about it.

“But I think one of the reasons Harry is so hard-line about it is because obviously his upbringing.”
