Sean “Diddy” Combs just turned 56, marking his second birthday behind bars — and he’ll be pushing 60 by the time he walks free.
The disgraced rapper spent his birthday on November 4 behind bars at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he’s serving a 50-month sentence (4 years) after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
His current release date, according to the Bureau of Prisons, is set for May 8, 2028 — meaning he’ll be 59 when he gets out.
While Diddy was once known for throwing lavish, celebrity-filled birthday parties, this year’s celebration was anything but glamorous. People magazine obtained the prison’s daily menu, revealing that inmates were served cereal or breakfast cake for breakfast, chicken parmesan or chickpea burgers for lunch, and a dinner of cheese pizza or navy beans with sides like Italian pasta salad, green beans, and a garden salad.
Those looking to splurge could buy a treat from the commissary, where options included honey buns for $1.30, Pop-Tarts for $2.85, and cheesecake squares for $1.07.
The Bad Boy Records founder was transferred to Fort Dix on October 30 after his legal team complained about the “inhumane” conditions at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he had been since his September 2024 arrest.
His lawyers also pushed for the move so he could access drug rehabilitation programs.
Just a day before his birthday, Diddy’s appeal was fast-tracked by a federal judge, giving him a slim chance of an early release.
