Infosys Salary Hike: IT Major Rolls Out Increments In April, Check Details

Infosys Salary Hike: ‘We are on track on wages. A large part of wage increments were rolled out in January and the balance is rolled out with effect from April 1, says Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka.

IT major Infosys has completed its increments this year with a large part being already rolled out in January and the remaining in April, according to its Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka.

“We are on track on wages. A large part of wage increments were rolled out in January and the balance is rolled out with effect from April 1,” said Jayesh Sanghrajka, chief financial officer of Infosys, during a post-Q4 earning press conference on Thursday.

In January, Infosys rolled out salary hikes for its employees lower than in previous years. The IT firm reportedly hiked salary in the range of 5 per cent to 8 per cent for most, depending on their performance rating.

On FY26 hiring plans, he said the company expects to hire over 20,000 freshers.

Infosys employs over 3.23 lakh professionals. Infosys reported a headcount increase of 199 in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025. During the full FY25, the IT major added 6,388 employees, bringing its total workforce to 323,578, up from 317,240 the previous fiscal year.

The attrition rate for the quarter on the last twelve-month basis increased to 14.1 percent from 13.7 percent in the December quarter.

Infosys on Thursday posted an 11.7 per cent year-on-year decline in its net profit to Rs 7,033 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025 quarter (Q4 FY25). Its revenues during January-March 2025 rose 7.9 per cent YoY to Rs 40,925 crore, compared with Rs 37,923 crore a year ago. Infosys’ net profit had stood at Rs 7,969 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
